Oh! and if these ladies knew how beautifully the German tooth learned in Prešov or Kassa and then became Hungarian in Debreczen, they would never speak in their home circles at any time, but in public places. There is a lot of inability for us! A brewery stands for some of the nomads who have moved to our town; for German military officers who have moved in, we are learning German: not only would they drink our wine, they would learn our language. Can our hussars in the Italian and German provinces talk about such luck? But they cannot be so modest claimants; they know that to learn the language of the country whose people live their days,at least it fits . With us, hospitality exceeds all expectations.

The Bek House is separated from the new town hall by a street on which the flea market is used. We do not know the name of the street, as the name of a street in Debreczen is not written anywhere.
