The strangest animal in evolutionary history

The evolution of life is full of magic, no matter what kind of environment on earth, there are almost all life of the fittest. Each creature has formed its own unique way of survival, some of which make people unavoidably breathtaking.
Heron’s invincible steel feet

The heron eagle, also known as the snake bird and the secretary bird, can guess that it feeds on snakes by looking at its name. However, there is a risk in catching snakes. If you encounter a poisonous snake, if you are not careful, the heron and eagle may be bitten back, or they may die. In that way, the predator becomes the unfortunate “predator”.
Therefore, the Heron Eagle must have a faster reaction speed, attack speed and powerful attack force. In fact, it does not humiliate its mission. Heron and Eagle have an invincible “wu” skill with diamond feet, which can be said to be one of the strongest attacks in the animal kingdom. When the heron eagle encounters a snake, it will kick at the snake. The force of this foot can reach 5-6 times its own body weight, which is equivalent to the force of an adult kicking about 400 kilograms of objects. Moreover, this powerful attack power can be released within 15 milliseconds. It can hit the snake on the head with lightning speed, kick the snake maimed with one foot, or even kill it. This is faster than Huang Feihong’s Foshan Shadowless Foot.
Mole with chopsticks in its mouth

Hairless mole rats, also known as naked mole rats, live in West Africa. They are ruled by a “queen” like insects and live in groups in underground caves. Judging from the current research, this is a very peculiar animal. Hairless mole rats are completely immune to cancer and have strong anti-aging ability. The life span is more than 30 years, which is 10 times that of other rodents. They also have an unusual ability: they can run backwards quickly, and as fast as they run forward. The underground environment is hot and humid, and food is lacking, but these characteristics enable them to adapt to underground caves and survive.
There is another feature that seems less noticeable, but very interesting. The front teeth of the hairless mole are large and long, and they are always exposed, but the front teeth are not for eating, but for making holes. The two lower front teeth can move independently, like a pair of chopsticks.
Sea pigeon eggs without water

We know that birds breed offspring by incubating eggs. The shell of the black egg is very important. It not only protects the embryos that develop inside, but also ensures the air circulation inside and outside the eggshell to provide sufficient oxygen for life. Therefore, eggshells contain tiny pores. If these pores are blocked by something, the consequences will be very serious.
This danger is especially obvious to the sea pigeon. Sea pigeon, also known as sea crow or guillemot, is a kind of sea bird. They live in groups and gather on bare sea cliffs. There are as many as 400,000 pairs on one cliff. They mate, reproduce, and hatch together. In this case, a large amount of bird droppings is unstoppable and can easily fall on the sea pigeon eggs. If the pores in the eggshell are blocked as a result, the offspring of sea pigeons may have been “killed” by their elders.
Therefore, in order to prevent the pores of the eggshell from being blocked by dirt, sea pigeon eggs have evolved an ingenious solution. The eggshell is covered with extremely tiny nano-scale cones, making the surface of the eggshell not sticky at all. Water falling on the eggshell will only form-small round water balls that slide down the eggshell. As long as the water cannot adhere, other filth will naturally fall off.
This structure is very similar to the principle that the lotus leaf does not stick to water. Therefore, the eggshell can automatically remove the surface impurities to ensure air circulation inside and outside the eggshell, so that the embryo develops successfully.
Fish crawling on land

In Venezuela, South America, in the Orinoco Valley, scientists have discovered a brand new fish in a tributary. This kind of fish has never been seen before, it belongs to a kind of catfish, and it is named Valkyrie star catfish.
From the outside, it is almost the same as a normal catfish with almost no difference. But under the ordinary appearance, there are some unusual secrets hidden. When found, it was crawling on the rocks on the shore. It has a large sucker under its body and a pair of special fleshy pelvic fins, which can move forward and backward independently. When the suction cups and pelvic fins are combined “hands and feet”, this catfish can leave the river and crawl ashore.
Fish can crawl, this characteristic should be inseparable from the environment. The water levels of these small tributaries in the area vary greatly. When the water level drops and the river bed dries up, these fish have to crawl to find other sources of water. When the heavy rain is pouring and the river is flowing, these fish can climb out of the water and temporarily avoid the turbulent undercurrent.
