Spread a background map for the taskbar

  With the help of the latest version of Classic Shell software, we can lay a background map for the Windows 10 taskbar. The latest version of the software is version 4.3.1, and it will not continue to be upgraded after February 1, 017. The official website address is
  The main function of the Classic Shell software is to replace the Windows 10 start menu with the classic start menu. We first need to hide its main functions and take advantage of its additional functions. Download and install the latest version of ClassicShell first, and then the software will replace the “Start” right-click menu of Windows 10. Right-click the Windows 10 “Start” button and select the “Settings → Control” tab, and then select all the options that contain “Open the system start menu” in the list, so that you can restore the Windows 10 default start menu operation habits.
  After eliminating the software’s interference with the traditional Windows 10 “Start” menu operation habits, click the “Texture Picture” item under the “Taskbar” tab in the software settings window to add a taskbar background image (Figure 1).
Change the background color of an explorer or folder

  First, after downloading and installing QTTabBar, open the File Explorer “Options” button drop-down menu and choose to enable the QT tab Bar and QT command bar. When you open the folder or file explorer again, you can see the QT file explorer toolbar.
  Second, click the settings icon in the QT toolbar in File Explorer. Open the QTTabBar options window. Select Appearance → Folder View tab in turn, select the Base Background color check box, and select the background color for the Active and Inactive windows (Figure 2).
  After that, move to the Navigation pane tab, select the Back color check box, select the background color for the left navigation pane, and select the text color (if necessary).
  Then, click CompatibleFolderView → General tab in turn, select the Comp atiblelistviwstyle and Selected column bg color in details check boxes, click Choose a color to select the color, and then click the Apply button (Figure 3).
  Finally, open the file explorer, you can view the new folder window or explorer window background color.
