Her project is also a Merit Award winner. Another top winner was Chayse Tamaki, a 7th-grader at Iao Intermediate who took the top Junior Division award for “Limu’s Hidden Antibacterial Potential: Do Some Marine Algae in Hawaii have Antibacterial Properties?”
