Poetry walking “wild school” girl poet

In June 2018, the “Traffic Poetry Movement” in Stuttgart, Germany ushered in the first Chinese modern poem-“The Language I Learn Is Sometimes Useless” by Jiang Xinhe, a 15-year-old Chinese girl. This poem, along with the works of four other famous German poets, is displayed on all stations, buses and trams in the city. This 30-year-old poetry movement is released twice a year, and only four or five poems carefully selected from various countries in the world can be exhibited each time. The Chinese works previously exhibited were only famous poems by Tang Shi and Lao Zi.
Jiang Xinhe is a “post-00” poet who has emerged in domestic poetry in recent years. In July 2018, she and her sister Jiang Ermao co-published the poem collection “The Lamp Burns a Hole in the Night”. At the launching ceremony held at the Shenzhen Book Fair, she made a short speech, with a special emphasis on “what I want to say is written in my poem, and the poem really doesn’t need much explanation”.
For this quiet and restrained young and beautiful girl, poetry and life are mixed, and writing poetry is as natural as breathing. Jiang Xinhe has currently written more than 700 poems, claiming to be “wild school” poets, because she has not received any professional training, and even barely attended elementary school. Her greatest luck is that she lives in a family that respects children’s nature and free imagination, and gains valuable poetic enlightenment.
Twelve years ago, on the lawn of Lianhua Mountain in Shenzhen, three-year-old Xiao Xin said naively: “Dad do you know / small butterflies are easy to catch / big butterflies are not easy to catch / because of big butterflies / experienced too much / the past. (“Big Butterfly”) “Papa Jiang was instantly stunning: isn’t this poetry? Back home, he jotted down these words without a word.
It can be said that without her father’s record, Jiang Xinhe missed her poetic language. In 2010, Father Jiang sorted out a poem collection “Kabara” belonging to her daughter from her multi-million-word growth notes. Among them, the poem “Many” that she made at the age of four was selected as the “Poems for Children”, and after being published by the Xinhua News Agency’s public account, it became one of the poems with the highest praise and forwarding rate by netizens: There are a lot of hands ∕ I run ∕ a lot of feet ∕ Puppies wagging their tails to me ∕ A lot of tails ∕ then ∕ I play swings ∕ There are many me ∕ Will you be proud ∕ So many daughters. ”
Jiang Xinhe was very opinionated at a young age. Sometimes my father would try to give her daughter Ginger comments: “The word is not a change would be better?” But every time she would playfully asked: “? It’s my work, or your work,”
2014 In winter, the Jiang Xinhe family went north. There is a butcher shop opposite the grandma’s house. There is always a sheep to be slaughtered next to the butcher shop. Jiang Xinhe often runs to feed the sheep. The sheep are different every time they go to feed. So she wrote the poem “Sheep on the Snow”: “Snow on the snow at the door of grandma’s house ∕ is always tied to a sheep ∕ every day ∕ I ran to feed it some vegetables ∕ sometimes it suddenly became fat ∕ sometimes It suddenly lost weight ∕ sometimes it suddenly became tall ∕ sometimes it suddenly became shorter ∕ sometimes it suddenly became bigger ∕ sometimes it suddenly became smaller ∕ it is not the same sheep ∕ it’s just that I feed it as the same sheep Try not to look at the butcher shop next to me to reduce my inner sadness. “This poem was selected in” 2015 Chinese Poetry Selection “and” 2015 Chinese Poetry of the Year “, and Yu Guangzhong, He Jingzhi, Ma Yueran, Li Ying, Beidao and other famous The poet’s works are juxtaposed.
Jiang Xinhe’s poems mainly come from various poetry collections and networks, rather than Chinese textbooks. She felt that the poems in Chinese textbooks were too formative, so she didn’t like them. However, what she read most was not poetry, but novels, essays, biographies, as well as books on pets, gardening, handicrafts, etc. She also loves watching movies and has extensive coverage.
Sister Jiang Ermao, who was four years younger than Jiang Xinhe, was under the influence of her sister’s ears. The sisters often write poems in one of you and in one of my competitions, and their father is their “poetry secretary”, which is both a record and a comment, and they are very busy. They co-founded the public number “After AA Sugar 00”, in which they commented and recommended poems. It was the first literary self-media founded and hosted by children in China.
In 2016, Sister Jiang Family both won the 25th National Lu Qi Poetry Award. Taking this opportunity to receive the award, Mom Jiang and Mom Jiang accompanied their daughters to complete a trip that spans 15 provinces and is more than 20,000 kilometers long, which is regarded as an award to them. They traveled the Great Wall, Snow Mountain, Gobi, and the desert together … Xinhe said excitedly: “The world is big, but in fact, you can start when you start! And I found that the world is not as mysterious as I had imagined before.” “The Chinese is sometimes useless” was written by her after this trip, but she did not expect “accidentally” to attract the attention of the international literary world.
After learning that her work was selected by the “Traffic Poetry Movement” in Stuttgart, Jiang Xinhe was very happy. This was a good opportunity to prove her level of poetry and gave her more confidence to create more and better works. But she also made it clear that she would not take poem writing as a profession in the future.
There is no limit to poetry. Jiang Xinhe’s poems are quiet and beautiful, full of philosophical thoughts and compassion. In this way, this fifteen-year-old genius girl poet walks freely in the kingdom of poetry and fills all the roads with poetic light.
