Blok and Mendeleeva: confusion and return

In the history of Russian and Soviet literature, the symbolist poet Blok (Александр Блок, 1880-1921) occupies a considerable position. He is the inheritor of Russian literature and one of the founders of Soviet literature. In the past 20 years, the Chinese translation of the Pollock poetry has been published in China.

Blok Grandpa Bertov is the president of the University of St. Petersburg, his father is a university professor and his mother is a writer. In August 1898, Blok was admitted to the Faculty of Law of the University of St. Petersburg. Three years later, he transferred to the Slavic Russian major in the Department of History and Language and graduated in 1906.

Blok has a small, unpredictable haircut, and her father is a professor at St. Petersburg University and the world’s first periodic table producer, Mendeleev. Blok and Mendeleeva have been from childhood to childhood, and the two adults have often traveled together and went on holiday in the suburbs.

When Blok and Mendeleeva first fell in love, the 17th year, Mendeleeva was a 28-year-old. When he was young, Blok was fascinated by the Russian thinker Solovyov, pursuing the “perfect woman” in his philosopher’s concept. Therefore, Blok regarded Mendeleeva as an “ideal woman” of kindness, gentleness and sage, but Mendeleeva did not recognize it. She often said to Blok: “Please don’t make me mysterious!”

One day, Blok sent a letter to Mengereva to propose. She hesitated after reading the letter and felt that the emotions between them had not yet been ripe. When Blok saw that she did not immediately agree, she threatened to commit suicide and Mendeleeva had to promise.

In 1903, the two married in a country church on the outskirts of St. Petersburg. After marriage, they first lived in the village of Shahmatovi and then moved back to live in St. Petersburg. The old man, Mendeleev, was very satisfied with the son-in-law, because the grandfather of Blok was his best friend, and he knew the roots and married the woman. But Mendeleev has another remark on Blok’s talent: “He has talents, but his poetry is puzzling.” Blok’s mother is eager to enjoy the family, and urges the newlyweds to have children.

Besides, Blok and Mendeleeva are newly married, but there is no fish and water, and the atmosphere inside and outside the flower house is suppressed. After the marriage, Blok told Mendeleeva that the marriage he pursued was to create a beautiful and pure spiritual world without sex with Mendeleeva, because sex would make their relationship shameless and embarrassing. This made Mendeleeva incomprehensible and frustrated. She not only admires the poet’s talent and talent, but also eager to get his flesh and blood, to share the lingering love song.

In 1905, Mendeleeva discovered that Blok had a habit of swearing. Among the women he met, there were both cultural celebrities and dancers in taverns. Blok said that he is close to these women in order to dispel loneliness and depression. After the dream of family life was shattered, Mendeleeva was once derailed. In 1905, she first had a relationship with the poet and writer Bere, and later with the literary scientist Churkov anecdote, and actor Lavdowski secretly pregnant and gave birth.

In 1907, after four years of spiritual confusion, Blok and Mendeleeva decided to return to their families after countless betrayals, remorse and tears. They rebuild their family life, starting with trying to understand and forgive, starting with forgetting, injustice and pain. Blok repented to Mendeleeva, saying that he wasted a lot of time looking for the meaning of the family and the true meaning of love, and the long-lasting and beautiful emotions that Tian Zun gave were close at hand.

On August 7, 1921, Blok died of heart valve inflammation. Fortunately, he was accompanied by Mendeleeva. She not only accompanied him, but also sold the softness of the house for money, and bought medicine for Blok. After the death of Blok, Mendeleeva was sad for him for 18 years. She commemorated Blok in the form of diaries and memoirs, and she did not marry until she died.
